AR-15 and Pistol Slide OEM and Private-Label Parts

PHLX Tactical makes OEM and private-label AR-15 handguards, upper and lower receivers, bolt carrier groups (BCGs) and pistol slides for firearm brands and OEMs. Send your drawings or approved design and target quantities; we respond to RFQs right away and typically return quotes within days, not weeks. PHLX is a SAM.gov-registered small business in Orange City, Iowa (CAGE 199E9, UEI VQMULC9KZFQ4). AS9100, ISO 9001 and ITAR are held by our manufacturing partner Douglas Machine & Engineering (CAGE 87BF4), not by PHLX Tactical.

Which AR-15 and pistol components can PHLX make?

  • AR-15 handguards: free-float and other styles, built to your length, mounting and finish requirements.
  • AR-15 upper receivers: made to your drawing or approved design.
  • AR-15 lower receivers: made to your drawing or approved design, with your marking requirements stated in the RFQ.
  • Bolt carrier groups (BCGs) and BCG components.
  • Pistol slides: made to your drawing or model, material and finish.
  • Other firearm components made to print.

If you already sell complete rifles or pistols and need a second source for one part, or you are launching a brand and need several parts from one supplier, the RFQ path is the same.

What does OEM vs private-label (white-label) mean?

OEM parts are made to your drawings for use in your own products. Private-label parts, often searched as white-label parts, are made for you and sold under your brand. Many programs mix the two: an OEM handguard design, a private-label lower receiver and a stock BCG, all quoted together.

How does a private-label or OEM order work?

  1. Send the RFQ. Drawings or approved design, material, finish, marking, packaging and target quantities to sales@phlxtactical.com.
  2. Get the quote. We respond to RFQs right away and typically return quotes within days, not weeks. The quote states the minimum order and the production lead time for each part.
  3. Approve samples. First articles or samples are checked against your drawing before production, when your program calls for them.
  4. Production and delivery. One point of contact tracks machining, finishing, inspection and shipment.

How are minimums and lead times set?

Both are quote-based. Minimums depend on the part, material, finish and process; production lead time depends on the same factors plus quantity. Send your drawings and target quantities, and the quote will state both. We do not publish a fixed minimum because a pistol slide program and a handguard program have very different setups.

What about regulated components like receivers?

Receivers are regulated components. State your licensing, marking and compliance requirements in the RFQ so the quote reflects them, and PHLX will confirm how the order will be handled before production.

Why buy from one point of contact?

Brands that source handguards, receivers, BCGs and slides from separate shops manage separate quotes, finish schedules and inspection reports. PHLX gives you one quote, one purchase order and one person accountable from RFQ to delivery. Work that needs AS9100, ISO 9001 or ITAR is routed to our partner Douglas Machine & Engineering (CAGE 87BF4).

What should I include in my RFQ?

  • Drawing or model with revision, or the retail example you want matched
  • Material, finish or coating, and color
  • Marking and packaging requirements for private-label parts
  • Target quantities (samples and production)
  • Required delivery date

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between OEM and private-label AR-15 parts?

OEM parts are made to your drawings for use in your products. Private-label (white-label) parts are supplied for sale under your brand name. PHLX supports both.

Can PHLX make private-label AR-15 handguards?

Yes. Send the handguard length, mounting style, material, finish and marking requirements, or your drawing, with your RFQ.

Is PHLX an AR-15 receiver manufacturer?

Yes. PHLX can make AR-15 upper and lower receivers for OEM and private-label programs. Receivers are regulated components, so state your licensing, marking and compliance requirements in the RFQ so the quote reflects them.

Can PHLX make OEM pistol slides?

Yes. PHLX can make pistol slides to your drawing or model. Include material, finish, cuts and target quantities in the RFQ.

What is the minimum order?

Minimums are quote-based. They depend on the part, material, finish and process, so send drawings and target quantities and the quote will state them.

How fast will I get a quote?

We respond to RFQs right away and typically return quotes within days, not weeks. Production lead time is stated on each quote after we review your drawings.

Who holds AS9100 and ITAR?

Our manufacturing partner Douglas Machine & Engineering (CAGE 87BF4). PHLX does not hold AS9100, ISO 9001 or ITAR registration itself.
